The Jnr has adopted DANIEL through World Vision!!!! We will be raising $30 a month to support our new friend. We will all pray for him and write him letters!!!!!!
Daniel is from Mexico and was born on May 29th of 2005. He has 1 brother and 3 sisters. His parents struggle to provide for the family. His dad is an agricultural worker in central Mexico. Typical homes in his area are made of adobe with tile roofs and have only one room. His diet is mostly made up of beans, corn and tortillas. Sometimes he may get some beef or chicken. The climate is rocky with a lot of hills and very dry with rain in July and August. It gets cold in December and January. He likes to play with toy cars and help out at home.
Our sponsorship will help provide Daniel with school supplies, immunizations, health check-ups, dental exams, access to clean water and better nutrition. His parents will also recieve agricultural training so that they can raise the standard of living for their children. The Christian witness the family will recieve will also give this family a chance to know the love and grace of God!!!!
You can support Daniel with just $1 a month or with a periodic JnR fundraiser! His picture and bio is on the JnR bulletin board. I know you are going to fall in love with this adorable boy and you may have one more friend in Heaven when you get there! Won’t Jesus be pleased!!!!!

Despite rain in the morning and evening, Encounter God prevailed! God stopped the rain just about two hours before the concert and kept us dry all the way up to 6:30! We saw terrific performances by talented Christain artists and were moved by powerful testimonies. The Prayer Path had a line at all times during the day - imagine kids lining up to pray!!!!!! The food was great and the best part was the 10 minutes of rain at about 6:30 that turned our tarp into an enormous “slip and slide” - and all this to the rhythm of our fantastic “closers” - Driven!!!!
We saw God’s hand move in so many ways and we are SO GRATEFUL to all of the volunteers, performers donors and friends (Lamb of God Lutheran church in Humble and Comunidad de Gracia in Houston) who were the hands and feet of Christ!!!!!!! We praise God for ALL of you and for being part of a miracle!
